I would think that you would want to have another child. After all you had your beautiful Sophie and you love her and you would want another beautiful child just like her (minus seizures).
I've been thinking about your beautiful article, every since you posted it, as it touched on a very sensitive spot. While I would love to have another baby, I am terrified, because unlike Sophie's seizures disorder, Izzy's condition was diagnosed and traced back to my "unruly" chromosomes. So between knowing that I can have another disabled baby, and feeling that I would be unable to terminate a pregnancy, and being aware that there are numerous conditions that can't even be detected before birth, the decision to have another baby would require a huge leap of faith. Just like it did for you. And I am so so so happy that you had two more amazing children in addition to beautiful Sophie.
Deep post over at hopeful parents. It seems just fitting that a "hopeful parent" would have another baby. I'm sure it was the best random/hopeful thing that could have happened for you and your family.
