  3. Many hands make light work. Here's hoping you know how many hands are stretched out to help in any way they can...

  9. Just catching up on your blog and with you, Elizabeth -- I'm sorry I've been MIA for a bit. I read about Sophie's news -- that is huge. I really don't know what to say, because I have so many questions. Namely, I hope the definitive diagnosis will allow for further and more effective treatment -- and I hope this news gives you hope. Please write more when you can -- I am praying for you all and holding you close to my heart.

  10. Sadness when shared is half as sad, happiness when shared twice as happy.

Here the candles burn, the hopes are tied to little cranes and we wait, and we pray for a better tomorrow.

  11. I've read the quote and seen the photographs--the lovely "load" on the bicycle and the lovely new one of Sophie to the side. I've nothing to add except the several new cranes I've made in my mind.

    Best,
    Bonnie
