Thanksgiving #23

Two down, one to go.

Days that is. Yesterday was IVIG infusion day one and today was MRI sedation and test.

That's two down.

Tomorrow is IVIG infusion day two.

My heart is pounding and I'm tired. Sophie is exhausted.

How do chronically ill people do it?

  1. One waits for the periods in between,
hoping that this time it would be easier, always hoping. And enduring. And hoping. Camus mantra about the invincible summer repeated over and over again. Here is hoping for Sophie to have more than relief, to feel better, for the seizures to ease and for you to get some rest, of the intellectual, physical and emotional kind. Here is hoping.

  4. I have no idea.
    I wonder that a lot.
I think of you too a lot.
I don't know how you do it either dear Elizabeth.

  5. Together.
    With hope.
    And faith.
I'm offering additional amounts of both hope and faith if your well is running dry.

  7. My, my, my. E-Niner has had a workorder request (or whatever those medical professionals call it) for an MRI with sedation since August. I just can't bring myself to do that with him...again. And he's not close to suffering nearly as much as Sophie right now. You are a trooper and she as well, and I hope with the IVG and the MRI, there are some answers and relief. Thinking of you daily...
