Cupcakes and Sophie

I'm busy baking today -- birthday parties and wedding showers -- grateful for the business and feeling wackadoodle.

Vanilla Cupcakes with Pale Violet Frosting
Red Velvet Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting

This is one of Sophie's favorite poses -- she's folded herself up like an origami swan since she was a tiny girl. We used to joke that the caption for that pose should be my life is shit and leave me alone. (Even in the early days, a sense of humor prevailed!)

Your cakes are as beautiful as your writing. And Sophie is amazing - it strikes me often, looking at her pictures, that she knows what she needs.

I love the pose. I should remember it over the next several days and do it often. Smart girl.

Erika - Thank you! Let's go into business together --

A -- I've never thought of it that way because she's more like a folded pretzel, but yes.

Mary - Thanks -- and that's an interesting thought --

Angella - Yes!

Birdie - I hope you feel less stressed soon. Perhaps a child's pose will help you!

If you go into business with Erika, you can make mucous cupcakes and send them to insurance companies for a small, tax deductable fee.

Gorgeous! Both pictures. Something about seeing Sophie like that grounds me and makes me feel calm inside. I hope it does the same for her.

I'm glad that your business is booming.
The caption of that pose is brilliant. It could apply to several other poses I can think of, as well!
