  1. Of the many, may people I know you deserve several days in bed where everyone looks after YOU. But I am sending you some good get well energy and hugs.

  2. I wish I could make you some hot lemon tea with ginger and honey and bring you some quiet, wrapped in some true goodness, with health and rest and all things that are blessed.

Thinking of you and hoping for a better day tomorrow. Rest.

  3. So sorry to hear you are on the ailing list.

p.s. Sometimes I don't comment on a particular post you've written because -- this will sound stupid but I mean it -- I don't want to sully it. That looks kind of dumb; I'll just have to count on you to read my heart.

  9. Will anyone cook you some chicken soup? I always miss my mum when I'm sick. She was the only one who looked after me.

  10. There are many things I love about being a mother, too many to list, but the fact that it is often impossible to take a day off when feeling sick has always struck me as somehow unjust. I think the act of giving birth should endow you with at least 18 years of pristine health. That or an on-call nanny, one like Mary Poppins who could float down from the sky and alight upon your doorstep when needed.

Hope you are getting some rest and feel better very soon.

  11. Feel better, dear Elizabeth. I wish I could come over there and cook you some soup. It wouldn't come close to yours, but it would hold a lot of love.

  13. I read once that every house in the "olden days" had sick beds because there was so much sickness and so many accidents and the only way to really get well was to just wait it out in bed. If you were lucky.
I think about that so often.
I hope you get feel better soon, love.
