Saturday poem

I woke up with a dirge in my head,
the mockingbird's trill a car alarm shrill,
a murder of crows
flying over the house,
my room, the bed.

  3. I hate those days. But you made art of it. Good art.

  4. I love this. The Florida version would have been the same except for the murder of crows flying over the house. Here it would be a murder of Quaker parrots flying over the house.
    Love it.

  5. I read this on Saturday when you posted it and it made me so sad. I've had you in my thoughts since. And counting crows too. I could say that i have had days like that, but maybe that's like comparing last weeks rain to Louisiana's Katrina.
