In this instance, I was amazed that my friend had the perspective she did. I would never have connected the two (negative conversation and subsequent positive occurrence) like she did. It was the fact that she had primed her mind to recognize the situation as such that made me wonder if I have been missing positive moments right under my nose all this time. Of course, her predisposal to this point of view deprives her of a lot of sarcastic, dark humor and observations and I'm certain I would miss those in my life so maybe I won't lean too far in her direction....kariohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10150537989886423212noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4863417462909147257.post-17358918927993196312013-06-11T10:31:25.648-07:002013-06-11T10:31:25.648-07:00I don't think the dude could stay up if one wa...I don't think the dude could stay up if one was seizing on his back.

Helmet Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04657270712206097668noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4863417462909147257.post-1004800611749142612013-06-11T05:58:24.308-07:002013-06-11T05:58:24.308-07:00I am inspired by her ability to not be in control,...I am inspired by her ability to not be in control, to put her trust in that young man so completely. As I watched the video I put myself in her place and felt a twinge of panic when he fell under the waves, the waves splashing over their heads. I suppose that says something about me. By putting your desire out into the world, you stand a better chance of finding the right teacher or opportunity. I just saw an interesting documentary called Charlie Don't Surf about a couple of organizations that bring disabled kids the opportunity to surf in Costa Rica. I'm thinking you and the kids could have a wonderful time...ehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11376645220662546020noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4863417462909147257.post-35701430460292908772013-06-10T19:15:15.708-07:002013-06-10T19:15:15.708-07:00Yet another use for duct tape.Yet another use for duct tape.Paulanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4863417462909147257.post-59892519063797994152013-06-10T17:43:20.912-07:002013-06-10T17:43:20.912-07:00Oh my word!
