No can do on RXs -- insurance will only cover 30 days at a time. If I could stockpile insulin I would. But I can't. So, if something happens or supply chains are disrupted, I'm SOL. These are seriously crazy times. We can't say it enough: stay home if you can. Reduce your and everyone else's exposure. I'm find for now at home, but wonder how long it will be until I go stir crazy. They're generic, and we used GoodRX and paid cash for them. Paying cash keeps the pharmacy benefits manager from seeing what we did. So, for those people on generics, if your doctor will write extra prescriptions, extra drugs can be obtained. <br />Good for your for facing down the pharmacist. The idiots in this Administration telling people to stockpile their Meds are so out of touch with how their own System works. When Panic sets in tho', Panic Buying ensues... you can't buy bottled water, hand sanitizer, pasta or Toilet Paper at most stores now because there has been a run on it all and they've had to resort to rationing what individual shoppers are allowed. So I would suspect a Run on Meds wouldn't be much different as people switch to Survival Mode. I just know it has taken more than 4 Months for The Man to get his Diabetic Insulin from the VA, some Rx his Doc ordered were denied and we still don't actually have any, while his numbers are near Stroke level! I am in agreement our strength is in our compassion and not our fears... may we all stay Well thru this Pandemic.
