Started it a while back and then left it at my sister's home in Kansas City. Bought another copy and am diving back into it. My sister now owns multiple copies of the book and informed me she plans to construct an end table out of them.Noanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01300868872496481473noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4863417462909147257.post-36657602794226708442014-06-21T17:59:40.722-07:002014-06-21T17:59:40.722-07:00I had to take Euphoria back to the library but I k...I had to take Euphoria back to the library but I knew I was going to like it, maybe even love it. I got some Lydia Davis on my bedside as well, Roxanne Gay's An Untamed State, and Cormac McCarthy Outer Dark. But my most absorbing and beloved read this week, by far, has been your memoir.

I couldn't get into Boy, Snow, Bird, let me know if I should keep trying. Really good, though I must admit in my ethnocentrism that I'm having trouble keeping track of characters with similar (to me, at least) African names.Steve Reedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11684120060438252945noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4863417462909147257.post-82974585831874946512014-06-20T19:49:38.842-07:002014-06-20T19:49:38.842-07:00I have a new stack, bought at my hospital. I have, "Any Known Blood" by Lawrence Hill, "The Falls" by Joyce Carol Oats, "A Heartbreaking Work Of Staggering Genius" by Dave Eggers and a lovely, surprisingly good book by Rebecca Flowers, "Nice To Come Home To". I love it when I buy an inexpensive book at a book sale and it turns out to be wonderful.

This weekend is devoted to renovations, which I now officially hate and can't think why in the hell I ever thought it was a good idea to renovate an apartment while living in it!
My life so farhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16721270441968035994noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4863417462909147257.post-61087809189478368242014-06-20T11:08:48.930-07:002014-06-20T11:08:48.930-07:00Have you read 'Light Years' by James Salte...Have you read 'Light Years' by James Salter? Although I am slightly tempted to save it to read when I go on vacation next month.
