Sunday Morning

I'm having my first cup of coffee in 21 days right now.

Perfect.

The cleanse was very successful. I think I've kicked the sugar habit (this, despite baking 3 million cakes the past three weeks) and I've lost nearly ten pounds. I feel good.

Yesterday was an insane day of baseball games, cake-baking (pictures later), baseball practices, haircuts, new shoes, a birthday party and dinner with friends.

Perfect.

Here are some photos of my crazily gorgeous son playing baseball -- he's the catcher, #12.

Final Score of the game: 7-6 (Indians!)

    Which cleanse did you do?

  2. I've always loved that crazy indian face on cleveland's logo .... I should probably say "first nation," but it looks nothing like a true first nation person :)

I'm back to coffee too (a couple of weeks ago) and no longer feel like I have Alzheimer's

  3. 10 pounds! You go girl! And next to all the baking you do. I gain weight just looking at your ultra-gorgeous pastry wonders.

Henry is outrageously handsome. I think he is the only person on earth who looked gorgeous with chicken pox.

  5. He is going to break some hearts, that boy.

Breaking the sugar habit, sounds like a good idea, but is it possible?

  7. He's growing up so gorgeously, Elizabeth! My god. What a beautiful boy.
It's not until you give up sugar that you realize how addictive it really is. Isn't it weird?
Enjoy your coffee. Congratulations on the ten pounds- I can't believe it's been three weeks already although I am sure you can.

  8. I am missing baseball looking at your son playing. R. just told me he could have made the high school team because they needed left hand pitchers. Of course he would be pretty rusty since he hasn't played in 2 years.

Your cleanse...I don't know if I could (want) to not have my coffee. I could cut down to 1 in the morning instead of one afternoon as well. Congrats to you!!!!

  12. only a movie -- I did a 21-day Cleanse. No sugar, dairy, wheat, beef, pork, caffeine, alcohol, etc. It was hard and boring, but I did it with minimal cheating.

  15. Henry has your eyes and smile. What a charmer.

Congratulations on your cleanse and sugar-kicking and weight loss! Awesome accomplishment.

    Particularly when you're cake-baking.

Doesn't it make you feel good to work so hard and get to see results?
