Holy Christmasmoly!

I found out today that tomorrow is Sophie's last day of school for three weeks. I thought vacation began for her NEXT FRIDAY.

Those of you in the know will appreciate my sentiments right about NOW.

Please send words of encouragement in lieu of flowers.

  1. Who takes off the whole week before Christmas? Hopefully everything will come together for planning for you. And maybe some extra trips to the beach for Sophie to talk with her mermaid friends.

  2. OH my. I am IN THE KNOW and you gave me a momentary panic attack. It has now subsided after a quick confirmation of the vacation schedule. May your week be quiet and lovely. It could happen. Christmas is a time of miracles.

  4. Words of encouragement and lots of booze?

For now, I'm sending love and light and a fervent hope for some respite care so you can go to a bookstore with a friend at least once next week while the boys are still in school.

  5. What Ms. Moon said.

Wishing you slow drowsy mornings and no seizures. Maybe?

  6. Holy Crapola. Should I tell the FedEx guy to leave the case of pre-mixed margaritas on the porch?

  7. After my crappy start to my day, that little tid bit of info might have just sent me over the edge.

Peace my friend. That is what I am sending you.

  8. Well, I would hope ALL students are out tomorrow ... a shorter school year or a shorter school day for disabled kids with an IEP (unless stated so in the IEP) would clearly violate IDEA and FAPE...sorry, schools are asses at times! Spoken as a 30 year, thankfully retired public HS principal.
