Be Yourself.
Life is precious as it is.
All the elements for your happiness are already here.
There is no need to run, strive, search or struggle.
Just Be.

  9. Oh, how I try to embrace these words. But it is so difficult to remember when you are the parent of a medically complex child, isn't it? It seems like there are always appointments, procedures, insurance battles etc.. that force you right back into that running, striving, searching and struggling. Thank you for the reminder to...just...stop...and enjoy being together and being happy. Your photo really captures the beautiful love and spiritual bond between your children.

  11. It seems, from here, that being Sophie's siblings is part of what has made your boys into such compassionate people and I think they will go on to make more beauty in their lives. So it's a beautiful cycle I see here.

  12. The pictures you have posted of your children this week go right to my heart. You are raising such compassionate and caring sons. Even though you write "How we do it," I still think, "how does she do it." I don't know if you know how breathtaking it is to get a glimpse through your blog of your life. It's stunning really. Sweet Jo
