The caption for the photo is: Good News -- She's Going to Exercise. I'm not a smoker, but this is my intention today. To exercise again. I haven't in over a month and I can really, really feel it.
So much bad news of late. It just seems relentless. When it gets like this I tend to do a lot of bitching and moaning. I'm trying to stay apprised of everything going on in the world of politics and business, but I want to run to the hills with my books of poetry. And sometimes I forget about music. My good friend Suzy sent me this
link. I'm going to hum this song and start exercising.
I hope you've worked up a sweat. Exercise is good.
ReplyDeleteAnd as a my friend Kathy always reminds me---BREATHE..............
Hey, Elizabeth - I love that. Head for the hills with books of poetry - and humming that great song. I needed that: It's 29 degrees in Montana and blowing 40 knots. I love your blog! xxoo
ReplyDeleteOur power is the vote. Until then, take your poetry and run to the hills. Enjoy but be back in time to vote.
ReplyDeleteMuffin, did you see your big shout-out from the glorious and delightful Barbara Abercrombie? Nice.
ReplyDeleteI'm in New Smyrna Beach, FL. Tomorrow I go to the Atlantic Center for 3 weeks to work with Honor Moore. Exciting, daunting, nerve-wracking. But then, my nerves get wracked easily.
New Smyrna Beach is on the Northeast coast, 15 miles from Daytona Beach, 90 miles from Orlando. It's all bikers and McCain/Palin around here, at least that's my take from my one foray into town thus far. Yikes.
Your blog makes me feel like you're closer, somehow. I adore you.
