Sophie and Henry

Do we look alike? Henry asked tonight.

Yes, I said, you look like brother and sister.

I'm glad she's my sister,
he added, and I say prayers that her seizures will stop and maybe she'll talk.

  1. Oh, they are such beautiful children! You are truly blessed! Brother and sister indeed!

I think about your journey often and wonder if I would have the strength. You are very encouraging.

Happy Weekend to your beautiful family!

  3. What a gorgeous photo of two absolutely beautiful children. Those huge, deep eyes made me think, "She in there" again.

That's a great prayer that Henry prays. I join him in that. What a wonderful brother he is; there is amazing grace, right there. Have a wonderful weekend. XO

  6. Abe (10) sat down to look at this beautiful picture with me. I told him about Sophie and epilepsy and we talked about the expressions on her and Henry's faces. I agree with Karen...my first thought was "She in there". Every photo you post of Sophie is moving. And Henry's eyes and hug convey love and pride to me.
