Corner View - The Unveiling

Do I really want to reveal myself, my real self? What or who, exactly, is a real self anyway?

As a child I was already starting to resemble my Italian grandparents. And I think I look more like myself then than I did here:

That, up there, was a long, long time ago. But I still remember her, most of the time. And I miss her.

Here is NOW:

And it wouldn't be an unveiling without this:

  1. This week's corner view has been so amazing ! I have so loved seeing everyone and hearing some neat stories !! I love that first photo of you as a young child. Those photos are the best, aren't they ? I do like the other two as well ! The last one is a neat shot. I really like it !! Was it an accident ? Because I was thinking ... I bet I couldn't take a photo like that if I tried ...

  18. I don't know, I think we're probably made of different layers, and our persona is made like a stratigraphy. Hello to the very young you in your grandmother's lap, and to the younger you looking to the future with sparkling eyes, and to the smiling you!
