I like it, but that is me and my give me negative space to rest my eyes while I am actually reading the posts. I have a closet filled with clothes, but I always end wearing the same Lilith little black dress because I feel comfortable without having to worry about accessories. Same with just about everything, so simple is better for me. Beside, you know I will read anything you write no matter how it comes wrapped to me. Chanel's advice: before leaving the house look in the mirror and take off something. Elegance is simplicity.
I like this in a lot of ways because I like clean lines, but I feel this is a bit stark for you and the way your blog is. Does that make sense? I also like the "door" but I think it takes up too much space at the top. IMHO. In the end, I like what you write, so I'll always come back!
I was just about to comment that the all-white background was a tad bit too simple and didn't reflect your blog's (or your) personality, but then you changed the background to green. It looks very seasonal and Christmasy now :)

I loved the previous graphic and the way it curled around the words. It fit beautifully with the name of your blog.
