I just read what you wrote about Sophie and I was blown away. Your writing is amazing, but more than that, your love shines through and it just really touched me. We don't know how we'll deal with things until we are facing them, we are in them, and living them. I hope and pray that there will be a way to ease the struggle and help her.
I feel like you wrote this just for me, not that you did, but that's how good it was. I suppose everyone will feel that way...Thank-you Elizabeth. It helps me to think of our circumstances this way. I fear for the future, but you're saying, we'll handle it the same way we've handled it before. We will. And it will be good. Those are cleansing words for me.

Most of the footprints in the sand are headed north and south. Your beautiful girl is headed into the sea. Perhaps she really is a mermaid! Lovely!
