  1. I hate anything to do with talking to my kids teachers, with a few great exceptions. I just do.

  3. I am with the rest, a bowl of Posole is always good for the soul, sugar can go off the map and I will not miss it. Dark chocolate on the other hand...

  4. Considering I have no idea what posole is and all the rave reviews it's getting in the comments, I just may have to try me some!

Hope you found a drink strong enough to take the edge off!! I know how those days go...

  5. Breath. And imagine drinking that stiff drink right before you walk in the door, just like Clint Eastwood in a spaghetti western. Feel it burn your throat and tingle all the way down. Then listen imagine the music from the Good, the Bad and the Ugly is playing as you step through the door. Works like a charm

  6. Oooh, posole. Chili heat conquers all.

Do you have a foam ball or pillow you can throw at the wall, shouting at the top of your lungs? Not that the drink isn't a good strategy, sometimes it just feels good to throw something and shout.

  7. posole sounds good - I'll have to find out what it is - but mini malted milk balls sound good too. Hope it went well. Smart kids without a doubt.

  8. I had to google posole, sounds nice but The Milky Way sounds divine! (I really need to find out what grits are too(?)).

Hope the PT conference goes well

  9. Posole is yummy but I don't have that kind of will power, yet. (and I'm supposed to be limiting sugar too. what's up with that?)

I am so sorry to see seizures on the list. About that strong drink -- if you ever get up north i live with a great bartender.

  15. Nice post - sometimes (often perhaps) fewer words mean so much more. I don't have children, so I can only empathise with you. Cheers, Nigel

  16. I hope they went well! I would have added a shot of brandy to my Posole. But I guess I should first go find out what Posole is to make sure it's amenable to brandy. :)
