Thanksgiving #6**

How did the rose ever open its heart and give to this world all of its beauty? It felt the encouragement of Light against its being; otherwise we all remain too frightened.

Hafiz

I am thankful today for roses blooming in my backyard in November.

**I am making thanks each day of this month of Thanksgiving.

  1. Me too. I, too, have roses blooming. And I, too, am grateful, especially when the butterflies alight on them.

  2. Loved this quote today - thanky ou for the beautiful illustration of it!
So glad that you were able to open that video of the little guy and the gorgeous poem. He embodies it so much better than the poet himself (did you also find that clip?)! Out of the mouths of babes, eh?

I'm happy that "Dr. Nostril" gave you a smile. Can't you just see her, looking up into his nose from the dentist chair, and saying exactly what popped into her mind? xoxoxo

  3. Oh, this rose reminds me of my grandmother's roses. I don't do well growing them, but my sister has inherited the knack. We are having lovely cool weather and gorgeous skies today - I'm grateful for that.

    Love the quote, too...
