Greetings from the Satellite Church of the BSC***

This is what we face today as a family:

even the satellite evil Santa stares vacantly into space

After about a week of turning my head every time I passed all of this, under the guise of being zen-like and knowing what my priorities are, well -- there are some marching orders today. The troops are gathering, ready for exploitation in the name of peace.

***BSC stands for Batshit Crazy, the original church a bastion of crazy out in Florida, headed by the estimable Ms. Moon.

  1. Heh-heh. Mr. Moon just took the outside lights down here at the base church. I think there's still a damn wreath on the front porch though.
Will the effing holiday NEVER end?
    Love you so much...Mary
P.S. My verification word is "nunmate."
This could be a new type of relationship, don't you think?

  3. Oh put some last of the holiday music on and dance around the tree one last time. Best of luck getting all done today as well!

Our tree was out yesterday as well as the outside lights on the barn. I still have the wreaths on the front door as they look so nice...I hate to put them away...just yet...

  4. Greetings from BSC midwest! Just took the tree down today. I had thought to anoint it my "birthday tree" but just couldn't take it any longer!

    Best,
    Bonnie

  5. There is another Satellite Church of the BSC here in Edmonton.

Snow all weekend, up to my ass, literally, can't open the back door. The garage door won't stay shut and this morning the fucking fridge crapped out on me!

  7. It's Jan 18th and my tree is still up. At this point I am seriously thinking of purchasing a decorative screen, slapping it in front of the tree and leaving it up till next year. There is simply too much to do and not enough time to do it in my world.
