iPad





Sophie can't really isolate her index finger and point, but she can swipe pretty well and really responded to the first program we downloaded called Baby Chord.

This is all just so exciting!

  6. This is incredible.How I missed the previous post on this amazing gift,is beyond me.And really and truly,what a gift.But I know you know this.

    So wanting one for Zoey.Seeing some great,great stuff out there,with our kids and the apps available.

    Cannot wait to watch beautiful Sophie with it and the world before her that it will surely open up.

  11. I did up a list of good apps for the ipad recently and there is one that springs to mind that might be good for Sophie. It is called Line Art and not being able to seperate her fingers too well wouldn't interfere with the operation of it. It would be a good 'cause and effect' app for her to get used to the touchscreen. Fab photos :) Jen

  14. we bought Queen Teen an iPad to see if she could use it and it's been so great for her. It was tricky at first for her because of her hand tremors and hypotonia. Controlling the amount of pressure on the pad was hard. But after several weeks of "playing," she's gotten much better and is able to use it more independently. She loves it, and it showed the school she is capable of using it. They've been discussing the pros and cons of buying her one for over a year, so I finally bought her one at home and then showed the school how well she's doing. Still don't have one for school use, but it's in the works at last.
