Thinking about Suze Rotolo

I sat in the car yesterday at a light and listened to a small tribute to Suze Rotolo, one of Bob Dylan's early formative influences and muses who died of cancer. I don't know why, but I shed some tears.

  1. "Don't Think Twice" is my favorite Bob Dylan song. I like the contrast between the tough words of the speaker and the melancholy of the melody, and, ultimately, the guy's ultimate vulnerability as he asks in the song, I wish there was something you could do or say to make me change my mind and stay.

  3. Muses, we rarely think of them and yet they are the inspiration behind many a good, crafty musician like Dylan. Love that song, too. Many thanks.

    Greetings from London.

  5. I sat in the car and listened to it too! I loved the part about wearing all the sweaters for the album cover.
