I love this, and all of the possible interpretations. It just shows how we tell stories to ourselves, based upon our own point of view! I was imagining that maybe his wife picked him up on his return from deployment, wearing that boa...or perhaps they have a son or daughter who serves...or it's simply a soldier with a powerful inner diva!
