  2. This book has been on my Must Read list for a while. And this quote? The exact subject of my latest blog post. I must get that book.

  3. The simple act of walking and the way we walk ..... It really is a metaphor of life isn't it?

  5. i sometimes wonder what my life would be like, what my family's life would be like, if i hadn't been sick for the past twenty-one years, off and on, more on than off. i wonder what it would be like to live in that kind of freedom. yet i have to say, my life has been good, even though. i don't have a handicapped child - i can't pretend to even know what that is like, but i like the sound of this book...
