Yosemite

This grand show is eternal. It is always sunrise somewhere; the dew is never all dried at once; a shower is forever falling; vapor is ever rising. Eternal sunrise, eternal sunset, eternal dawn and gloaming, on sea and continents and islands, each in its turn, as the round earth rolls

-John Muir, naturalist, explorer, and writer (1838-1914)

  1. Gorgeous. I am sitting on my back deck this morning enjoying the sunshine and this made me look up and take deeper notice of my surroundings.

    Thanks.

  4. Everyone should consider a place such as this their own spiritual Mecca, regardless of their religious beliefs.

At least once in a lifetime we should commune with the purest expression of creation available to us - after giving birth to our children - and I believe we would feel the love and active forgiveness of our planet and do our best never to harm it.

  5. I have read that writing before ... An amazing bit of wordsmithing there.

I love the wispy hint of spiderweb on your flower. We all have bits of detritus clinging to our beauty.
