  1. Yes, it makes me so sad but if you peeled back the skull on most Americans to find the Geography section of the brain it would look very similar to this.
My brain included. My geography sense is beyond pathetic.

  2. I saw this on facebook and laughed out loud. It reminded me of an old New Yorker world map - do you remember that one? http://bigthink.com/ideas/21121

At least there is enough self-awareness to joke about it!

  3. As a Canadian I find this hilarious. It does feel that a lot of Americans see the world this way. Uninhabited. Bwhahahahahhaha

  5. All I have to say is I played Sporcle on the beach last summer and the college kids kicked my ass. They knew which African countries with alliterative names bordered each other! I have hope for the youth of America :)

  6. Hilarious I think...except that I have yet to say "score" to any of my dear American friends (and I honestly do have many) when I ask them the name of our Canadian Prime Minister or my 'adopted nation's Australian Prime Minister. Sigh!

  9. Brilliant. Embarrassing. True. Ugh. Can I please switch to the kangaroo country? Or go where coffee comes from?

Thanks, Elizabeth. I'll pass it on.
