Perhaps an explanation for Sophie's increased seizures this week?

The sun is bombarding Earth with radiation from the biggest solar storm in more than six years with more to come from the fast-moving eruption.
The solar flare occurred at about 11 p.m. EST Sunday and will hit Earth with three different effects at three different times. The biggest issue is radiation, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Space Weather Prediction Center in Colorado.

  2. It has to affect us all, don't you think? We know so very, very little.

  3. Probably explains (or not) a lot of the bizarre energy in the universe of late....let's blame the sun gods.

  4. I'm sorry to hear about the seizures she is experiencing!

Let's bow down to the solar god and beg for a reprieve.

  6. Stranger things have happened. I hope that things settle for all of you a bit and you can find a way to enjoy these solar flares and the glorious lights they provide in the night sky. Check some of the photos out here

  7. My friends back in Alaska said that the Aurora were INSANE during the heightened storms (northern lights are caused by solar storms). I think that we're all completely effected by every thing the Universe throws at us. Sophie probably more so.

  8. that's very interesting. i know an alternative practitioner who believes the energy disturbances from these solar storms do, indeed, affect our health in profound ways. i've had a bad week myself. i think i'll blame it on that. (i'm sorry sophie's had a bad week, too...)
