The Yes Button

Oliver and Sophie, 2001

Heck FIRE!

Hot DOG!

Hallelujah!

Thank Goodness!

And from Oliver?

If Sophie were eighteen, she could vote, right? She would have hit the YES button on her iPad for Obama, right, Mom?

  3. So freaking happy! Now I'm just waiting for our interminable state results (and I'm sorry Prop 37 didn't pass in CA).

    1. Kario, Prop 37 was extremely controversial -- even some very liberal groups, including The LA Times newspaper didn't back it. I believe that the prop was very poorly written and that something better will emerge. It's the Food Wars, for sure, but Prop 37 was premature and a terrible way to begin.

  6. I wore my Obama t-shirt proudly over here in almost-solidly red Kansas! AND I wore it to church tonight! Ha! I love my church family and respect my neighbors and much of my family but, darn it, I don't agree with them politically and I am the one celebrating today!! I have to go online to find my liberal blogger friends! ;-)
