The-Not-Into-the-Olympics-Spectacle-Girl is moved

It's no confession but, rather, the disgruntled ravings of a Not-Into-the-Olympics-Spectacle-Girl that makes me admit to crying a bit last night when I watched this story.

  1. And I can see why you would be. It's the stories like this which make the Olympics something truly worth watching at times.

  5. After seeing it the other night my husband said - I really hope that kid wins the Gold. I glanced over and his eyes were brimming with tears.

  6. I still get teary when I see the Superbowl Microsoft commercial about tech... and speech apps, w/the football player & his son.
Even on the 5th or 6th viewing. And I didn't even watch the Superbowl. I guess I'm still getting used to the idea that we will be that family and floored by the technology that will make it possible.
