Sleep, of course, and have no seizures or need to walk around outside or be otherwise distracted and entertained. Make sure that your saintly caretaker has nothing to do for the majority of the day but take adorable photos of you and send them to your mother while she sits in Manhattan Beach watching her teenager play lacrosse and fields her other teenager's incessant questions and requests for food.
Rest. We all need it. And are blessed when we have it. Sophie..Golly. You are so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGood for her. No seizures! Yay!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a wonderful day for your lovely Sophie. I hope it was for you, as well!
ReplyDeleteSophie looks so peaceful. And no seizures is just a goddamn miracle
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. Why can't that happen for you too sometimes. I know your caretaker is wonderful and it's nice for her to have an easy day. But shouldn't you get this kind of day too?
ReplyDeleteLike the way babies always sleep for the grandparents and then they say, I don't know what you're complaining about or why you're so tired, she does nothing but sleep all day.
ReplyDeleteSophie's just beautiful in her yoga sleep.
ReplyDeleteThat's comforting to know, but funny too that sometimes our kids save up all the raucous for US, right? CB likes to be really feisty at my mother-in-laws... breaking shit all the time. She gets into her dirty diaper with our one babysitter. I suppose she treats them just like family :)
ReplyDeleteAaaarg. I hear you. I love you.
