Oliver is Eighteen Years Old

I don't even have anything to write about this kid of mine that I haven't written already.

He's an amazing son, and I love him.

Happy Birthday, Big O.

  1. I swear. It seems like time took a jump here lately. Wasn't Oliver just turning thirteen a few days ago?
    Oh my. Eighteen years old?
I surely do wish him all the best and an entire lifetime of goodness and all good things. I've come to love that boy of yours, Elizabeth. And hey! Did you see that Mick Jagger announced that they'll be rescheduling that tour? So...hang on. You and Oliver will indeed get to see the Rolling Stones. I can't wait to hear about THAT!
    Meanwhile...CAKE! And love.

  3. What?!! He was such a cutey little boy - yes, I've been reading that long - and now look at him. A handsome and I know oh-so-wise young man. Oliver has always had a way with looking at the situation from above. Not many can do that. It will serve him so well in this adult life he is embarking on and all those around him.
Happy Birthday, Oliver. We are so lucky to have you.

  7. A beautiful positive post. I stopped reading for a couple of weeks and came back and caught up. Reading some all at once really highlights your painful experiences.
