What I'm trying to remember

Mizuta Masahide's gravesite

The barn's burnt
down,
and now
can see
the moon.

  3. I remember seeing this on a card and thinking it was beautiful! I didn't know the origins. Thanks!

  4. In the old house I had this engraved on a plaque placed right as you came into the garden. It was stolen. I always wondered what the Karma of a person who steals something like this would be like.

Is still one of my favorites saying and lord knows I have learned this well enough as to have it tattooed in my soul.
