Bookstore as seduction

If I were an adulterer, Politics and Prose would be my downfall. Yes, the actual bookstore. I'd begin in Poetry and then Fiction. After Religion and Memoir, I'd slide down, breathless, to Remainders where I'd lie, cheap and spent.

  1. Three little sentences. Completely and utterly captivating. Loved it!

  3. Let us all celebrate our literary sluttiness! Let us lie down in books and not come up until we, like you, are spent. And then we can refresh ourselves with magazines.

  4. When I pass on, I want to stop by Politics and Prose on my way to wherever I'm going!! I'll have my old pal, Andras Goldinger (book seller extraordinaire) help me pick out reading material for the journey!

    Best,

what a lovely way to go"

(with apologies to Edna St.Vincent Millay) I suspect I would be spent in more ways than one but as I often say when it comes to books there is always plastic and I am not afraid to use it. Have a safe trip home.
