In twenty delicious minutes,



this magnolia bloom opened from a tight, baby's-head-sized bud.

I had gone back to sleep for twenty minutes having said good-bye to my son who left for school.

What other miracles will appear today?

    I have stuck my nose in blooms this whole world over, but nothing is as glorious as a magnolia flower. We don't have them in Colorado.

    I have no idea but I'm sure that magnolia is going to smell better than any other miracle any of us may encounter.
