I'm with you, Elizabeth, the words 'at least' imply we can find more than wisdom as a requirement, when to me wisdom is pretty damned good, if that's all we can manage to find.
I am a severely deluded woman, or at least I want to be. I wish for permanence and find only constant change. You'd think I'd accept it but still I fight.
I'm with you. That "at least" is a bit of a downer... I'd love to be like my great-aunt Helen and be wearing leopard print nighties (and looking good in them) and bowling and gardening and driving a yellow Thunderbird well into my eighties. But somehow I don't seem to be following that pattern...
Let me hear you say it... no accidents! (And NEHBM of the Dalai Lama. I have had that calendar a few times, but not this year - I miss it!)
ReplyDeleteWell, he's the Dali Lama and everything he says will be considered wise, no matter how old he is.
ReplyDeleteHarumph.
Yeah. What Ms. Moon said.
ReplyDeleteI like "at least" too. Ahhhahahhahahaaa! Some of us just need to give it over, and have fun. No?
