Driving Toward Oblivion

Here's a poem:

Biophilia

Most of us hungry at daybreak, sleepy by dark.
Some slept, one eye open, in water.
Some could trot.
Some of us lived till morning. Some did not.

  1. Oh. My. God. You have slipped the bonds of hell. You look like you are in a field of joy, and I know this is recent because, well, the mask. I love you. I am glad you got to lie amid that celebration of color. Thank you for sharing it with us here.

  2. The Wildflowers this year are spectacular! The Magnificence of Nature makes me forget all about the trials we're facing. I'm glad you were a Pandemic Runaway for a moment, it looks like a Scene from The Wizard Of Oz! You didn't steal the Red Shoes did ya?

  4. Spectacular journey into the poppies! So abundant, so rich. Oh, to lie down in those fields. A much needed boost of all things good. Hooray!
