You know...I was just about to leave a comment in agreement with you. But I suddenly realized that in reality, I was that geeky girl who LOVED school. I loved homework and reports and projects. Especially PROJECTS. Sad, but true.
I liked school fairly well, but you are SO right. On the days I work even if I don't get home til after 7, I eventaually get to lie on the couch and watch Glee and eat bon-bons (okay...m & m's). I was doing that tonight and realized how sorry I felt for my kids who literally don't have a minute to watch TV. They go to school at 7, come home from extra-cirrculars as late as 6 p.m. and then do hours of homework after a bite of dinner. Their big time splurge is a 15 min shower!
Oh god. Me too.
