Self-indulgent moment of the day



Sitting in my ugly pink bathrobe on the couch in the living room at 11:00 in the morning and watching the tape of Oprah interviewing Rielle Hunter, the mistress of John Edwards.

Then I took a shower.

    And I saw him as America's great hope. My spiral into total cynicism began. Not a moment for me. I would need a steam shower...or ten.

    I watched that interview, too, in a similarly self-indulgent moment. What did you think? I think she has a character disorder. Am I all wet?
