I was excited to see the pictures from the day. The dancing are my favs!!! And the last picture of Sophie. Breathtaking and beautiful and happy. She is happy and you can see it. Did I mention the cake? Fit for a princess. A wonderful day in all.
That looks like a wonderful party for everyone: Sophie, family and friends. Her cake (& that turquoise plate!), the dancing, decorations and the happiness in everyone's expression make me wish I could have raised a glass with you. Sending love and best wishes for a very happy year ahead for Miss Sophie!
I've been gone for 5 days, so coming home to this was sheer joy! Yes, the dancing, the photos, all of them were heartwarming. So happy to see you all so happy! I hope everyone got to make a wish for Sophie when the candles were blown out. I know what mine would have been xo
Thank you for sharing that beautiful party. The happiness and love radiate from every photo. I especially loved the dancing ones. You've spurred me to rethink that policy of no birthday celebrations for C. which I adopted thirteen years ago. After all, I religiously celebrate every other family birthday. I believe that actually makes me guilty of disability-based discrimination.
Be still my heart. The brothers. Sophie. The cake. The friends. The dancing. And that last picture especially. Sophie knows she is loved. Adored.
