If you can sit quietly after difficult news; if in financial downturns you remain perfectly calm; if you can see your neighbors travel to fantastic places without a twinge of jealousy; if you can happily eat whatever is put on your plate; if you can fall asleep after a day of running around without a drink or a pill; if you can always find contentment just where you are: you are probably a dog.

Oh my God, that's fabulous.
Love it! Envy is my Achilles' heel for sure.
Oh my god. I was feeling SO bad until I got to the last five words and I breathed a sigh of relief.
I am NOT a dog. Sadly.
Oh my gosh, so true, so true.
And I am so happy for the reminder that Jack Kornfield has a new book out.
LOL! I love this. Of course, we have cats.
But I'm dog-sitting this week, so maybe I'll learn something.
Love it.
Excuse me while I get up to give my huge pooch a hug...
You could not have expressed life in a better or more succinct way.....BTW, Adam's dog, Ollie, is a pint-sized version of the pictured one....
I NEED TO BE A DOG! And I LOVE this post so so so much! Made me laugh hysterically. Well, maybe chuckle hysterically. Can you chuckle hysterically?
I don't know Jack Kornfield. Now I'm off to look him up on amazon.
Classic. Love Jack. Used to go hear him speak, he was wonderful.
There are times I wish I could be of a mind like a dog. Such forgiveness...such devotion...such rewards of a tender lick when all seems awful in a day. I guess that is why I surround myself with pets. At least they accept me for who I am to them.
Ha! this is fabulous!
Funny! Thanks for the smile!
I love that .... My dog is sleeping his life away
Perfect.
