Deb - I won't take blame for that, Deb! I do believe the title of your last post was "Sanctuary," so I'm thinking there was something subliminal going on! :)
After spending more than twenty years of my life as a teacher who gladly took whatever they'd pay me, I'm so pleased to see people rising up and and trying to shake the world awake. Thank you for posting this and for stopping by my blog. I'd give anything for the sight of the LA sky, even with smog.
Thanks for introducing me to slam poetry... sent it to my brother in law... former CPA, now seventh grade math teacher... and shared with my husband.. current lawyer who wishes (we) could've afforded for him to be a teacher... i believe his profession was also mentioned in passing... thanks for enlightening!
Amen..amen...amen..and as a teacher...amen again!!! That we all as teachers should have that kind of passion and offer up that kind of dedication!! AMEN!!! Please pass this along to Idaho also..as New Jersey and Wisconsin have been in the news...Idaho quietly passed similar measures..and noone has heard a peek..except we teachers and parents who are mind blown! Hugs to you hon and bravo!! Sarah:)
You know you made me spend too many hours on you tube after this yesterday...
