goodness. btw, my birthday is wednesday (I thought I'd share), and I am in fact waiting for the plumber. I have been for the last 3 months. Plumbers don't show up in this country, and I pray that our free national health insurance keeps working this well - sure, we have to bring our own toilet paper to the hospital, but we get free medical care and free medications for chronic diseases. Thought I don't know whether as a result we're any healthier, happier or richer.
Unbelievable. Maybe you could get a no-show discount and the treatment won't cost sixteen-stinkin-thousand dollars this time? I'm very sorry, Elizabeth, it sucks. But nonetheless, happy early birthday to you!
