I can't stop looking at this May Day photo of Henry and his Friend Emma (
friend is capitalized so that the world knows she is not his Girlfriend). They had just made those flower wreaths at a May Day party a few days ago. Evidently, my son was game and actually made his own. There's something about how sweet and joyful they look that makes me happy, too. How in the world did we get so fortunate to have these beautiful creatures grace our world?
Gorgeous kids. And yes, so happy. Sorry about Sophie's seizure. I will keep praying for her.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful beauties indeed but my experience is that it's always the girl who isn't the girlfriend who is getting the nectar.
ReplyDeleteHow, indeed, did we get so fortunate. What a glorious photo. xo
ReplyDeleteThese two make the flowers more beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteBest,
Bonnie
It is a wonderful picture. I love it.
ReplyDeleteThat is a joyful photograph. Such carefree youthful energy, such radiance, such beauty. I love that Henry can so fully embrace a garland of flowers as a crown. Such a lovely boy you have there.
ReplyDeleteThe other day I said to Vergil (I think) of Owen, "I just love his pure little boy heart so much," and when I look at this picture of Henry, I see his pure little boy's heart as well. It is always there, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteSo, so beautiful.
Mary just said it - that was perfect. They both are the embodiment of youth and beauty.
ReplyDeleteThey look so California. I'm thinking of that old song about wearing flowers in your hair when you go to San Francisco, but I guess LA works too. :)
ReplyDeleteYou are raising beautiful boys. Great job mom! x0 N2
