I did not actually get a tattoo and only snapped the picture I posted yesterday because I loved the name of the parlor. But those of you who thought I had done so have inspired me to at least think about it.
LOVE the image. Maybe get it in henna first to see if you really want it? I got a henna tattoo on the inside of my wrist while we were in Hawaii and I thought it was great fun. If you do go for it, my only advice is just don't put it anywhere that will eventually get really saggy, if you know what I mean ;) www.lisacapelilienthal.com
When my daughter was in high school I would host an annual back-to-school henna party - Indian food, Bollywood movie playing, and a henna artist to give each girl a tattoo. The moms always wanted to have a happy hour henna party so WE could get the tattoos. That's not such a bad idea, is it?
Well, you know what I am going to say: Just do it. I think some people look at my 2 and think that I acquired them in my wild youth and instead, you know, after 40 plus. I don't regret them for a moment. That little Zoey, just as your little mermaid girl, all the inspiration we need.
What a beautiful image! I've thought about a tattoo ever since Katie passed away, but Gregg & David are against it, and have always talked me out of it...so far. I also hesitate when I picture myself in my 80s with it. Who knows? Follow your heart!
that would be a lovely tattoo! my daughter had a professor who told her class the story of his niece who got hepatitis C when she got a tattoo while on vacation in CA... i've always figured that with my luck regarding any type of surgical procedure i'd end up with either a huge ugly scar or hep C...
