I love all of Wes Anderson's movies; Bill Murray is one of my favorite actors and the movie came out thirteen years ago. I've had it sitting on my desk, a rental from Netflix for well over a month. I watched it with Sophie last night and loved every minute of its rollicking weirdness. The soundtrack was awesome, as well. I can't even remember how long it's been since I've heard this song and practically jumped off the couch when it came on. My favorite part is around 1:08 when the drums go, there's some jangling and a pick-up in the voices and it sounds rocking and innocent and wailing all at once.
Love this movie. Have seen it a dozen times and it always makes me happy. Saw it in the theater with my Dad when it first came out. A great respite from a hard time.

I love quirky movies. I'm guessing there's quirk in this one - haven't seen it tho. Have you ever seen Everything is Illuminated? Or Danny Deck Chair? Or Benny and June?
