Melrose Avenue street art
Casualty of southern California Santa Ana's -- Wednesday night
3rd Street, Los Angeles
Fancy BMW driven through fence in Chase Bank parking lot
3rd Street, Los Angeles
(woman in car, looking a lot like Tori Spelling but not, wearing what appeared to be pajama bottoms and large sunglasses, ran into bank exclaiming that she'd had an anxiety attack and needed a cell phone to call work)
What a strange world, but I think the street art makes it all worthwhile. It's stunning and so evocative. When was the last time you wore the dunce's hat? I suspect we've all had a turn at one time or another and it's very sobering.
ReplyDeleteWell, as Jimmy Buffet said a long time ago- we got fruitcakes all over the place. But the artwork is good there. Take comfort in that.
ReplyDeleteI hear such strange things about L.A. Seriously, I would like to spend some time there just to check it out.
ReplyDeleteAnd what is your story about fleas eating a brain?
I wonder if she had the anxiety attack before or after she ran over the fence??
ReplyDeleteabsurd and wonderful.
ReplyDeletewhat deb said, with a side of giggles.
ReplyDeleteAh L.A., you are a wild a crazy lot! We fly through it twice a year on route to Canada from Melbourne and I always expect a show and disappointed when it doesn't deliver. On the serious side, did see a lot of coverage of impact of the Santa Ana winds here in Australia.
ReplyDeleteLove the poor kid in the corner!
ReplyDeleteHope you manage to steer clear of the wind!
