As you all know, we're still here.
Groaning with sweets and champagne, true, but we're still -- gloriously -- here.
Our menu for last night included the following:
Eggnog Cupcakes with Pink Buttercream
Gingerbread Cake with Coffee Glaze
Buche de Noel (chocolate cake with ganache)
Vacherin with Cranberries and Raspberries
Traditional Swiss Christmas Cookies
Pumpkin Cheesecake
Cheesecake with Christmas Candy Top
Cheese Board with Chutneys and Fig
Winter Wonderland Red Velvet Cake
Citrus Salad
Pecan Puffs
Pear Frangipane Tart
Champagne
We had a much smaller party than we'd had in the past, so please come over for leftover sweets and champagne!
how decadently yummy! these are one of the many times i wish i lived next door!!!
ReplyDeleteknock knock. it's me! it all looks scumdeliumptious!
ReplyDeleteEmphasis on the groaning! It was every bit divine, especially the company.
ReplyDeleteAll the food groups well represented. Delicious!
ReplyDeleteBest,

Wow, this looks fantastic! What a tremendous amount of talent you have!
ReplyDeleteSimply awed by your skills, for beauty, for honesty, for making everyone wish they lived next door. Would it be rude if we brought Tupperware with us, for those bits we can't quite finish? Silly world, how much it would have missed by ending. xo
ReplyDeleteIt's all so pretty, I wouldn't want to mess it all up. But, if someone else cut into it first, I would have no trouble taking a nibble. :)
ReplyDeleteI would love to drop by.
ReplyDeleteYou know what sounds the most absolutely incredible to me? That gingerbread cake with the coffee glaze. Is there a recipe?
ReplyDeleteIt all looks magical. I bet it was.
So was this party an annual event or one simply to celebrate the "quote" end of the world?... Either way it looks like it was to die for.
ReplyDeleteI'm late for the party...is there anything left?!
ReplyDeleteYour home looks magical and (almost) too beautiful to eat, and like the others, I too wish we lived next door. Hope you had a wonderful celebration!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. I want that white cake with the trees. A huge piece. Yum.
ReplyDeleteI like your kind of party. I always pick sweet over savoury. Merry Christmas woman.
ReplyDeleteHow do you do it??? Happy holidays!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful buffet!! And your house always looks so inviting. If I lived within 200 miles, maybe 300, I'd hop in my car and invite myself over! Sadly Kansas is a bit far. Merry Christmas, a day late!
