Tonight, on the menu: Noah's Bagel's with your choice of turkey or veggie sausage. A side of banana and OJ, water, or chocolate milk. That's as good as it got around these parts. And you know what? They were happy as can be.
Love these little post cards. The one's I tend to laugh the hardest at are peppered usually with a favorite curse word or two. Not always appropriate for my blog.
Right? And when they don't have school, three meals a day? The dog gets fed once a day and he like it fine. (Okay, he probably not true but he never talks back about it.)
Planning meals, shopping, cooking and cleaning up each night takes up about 20 hours of my week. Unrewarding thankless drudgery. Now I understand why my husband has time for multiple rounds of golf each week...
I have been asking this same question for at least thirty-five years. I still don't know the answer.

ReplyDeleteSeriously! We have had cereal for supper so often lately I have taken it out of the breakfast rotation.
ReplyDeleteNOBODY wants to cook all the time. Our too-tired go-to is either omelets and grapefruit or rotisserie chicken and microwave vegetables.
