oh, see , now that gives me hope today. and that photo... breathtaking and peaceful at the same time. Where you there?
And perhaps that is the very definition of a writer- someone who listens FOR stories. I live for them, too. Beautiful picture, beautiful quote.
Deb - Yes, I was there. My husband is from there and his sister lives in the village in the picture.
Oh yes, the listening for and gathering of stores is the definition of a writer! The photograph is beautiful.Best,Bonnie
Is that Murren, by any chance? I love the quote, too, but the photo takes my breath away!
That is so lovely. Just what I needed.
I'm a story catcher. Can't make a thing up on my own, but I can catch and retell a story pretty well. My dad had so many, and I caught as many as I could, but I wonder about all the ones that got away! Great picture and quote.
A quote to savor and reread...and share.
I love this. So true...I think most writers get this. We skirt around the outside listening for tales to tell.
I love that photo. So much. And the quote, of course...
Breathtaking.Jealous my girl is enjoying that kind of view for her year in Lausanne.Lucky girl.Wish that money tree would sprout so I could go visit her.:(
Oh my! To live in a "village." to live in a "village" that looks like this. I think Heaven looks a little like this. Maybe without the snow?
