I'm with you on this one, too. In fact, why don't you just say that "Ms. Moon and I are grateful for..." whatever you decide. Because so far, all your gratefulnesses would be mine, too.
Me too. I am so thankful for my group of friends who listen when I need to talk, vent or swear like a sailor. I would lose my ever loving mind without them.
Ah, the best part of friendship is to know who are the true ones and who are the wannabes. The true ones are always there or as my mother used to say "true friends are like blood. They come to the wound without having to be called". But you already know that, actually we both do. And I thank you for it.
I so hoped you could have joined us this Saturday...sigh. There will be others, but with Karen coming it would have been just perfect. We will raise a glass to you, and send you love if not Bouchon's French Onion Soup which is what I am cooking for starters.
This photo is just wonderful. I sometimes wish we lived in a time when we dressed up to go out. That we lunched more, laughed more, and ate sandwiches made on soft white bread. Priceless.
I share in your thanks for this, and in Allegra's wish that you could join us this weekend. As she said, we will certainly raise a glass to you. xoxoxo
